It Is Time. You Are Ready.

To get better (or BIGGER) you need a challenge that pushes your limits.

It's valuable to consider your biggest goal to live outside your comfort zone.  To make that happen, you need to face circumstances that demand it regularly.

Examples:

• Up against Brian in a Blitz?  Suddenly my calls per hour have doubled or even tripled.
• Best in your clan at SC, but still suck?  You're playing against noobs in a noob clan.

The theory behind becoming a consistant 5-6 size is you must be that big to handle the challenges of "both" and the challenges of growing a business.

Without any of those challenges, you're living in a field of inspiration that seriously lacks ACTION.

ACTION is what makes change.  

It's like raising the blinds in poker -- it forces that action, and puts you in more situations where you have to rely on reading abilities and not just stacking odds.

Without the challenge of BOTH, you'll never be able to achieve the goal of "Become a 5-6 and do BOTH."

Right now you're "become a 5-6 and do both, but do both later, maybe with a lot of money and just get an easier job and be a 4-5 and kind of handle them individually"

That old goal -- one that I've been preaching is wrong for the last 90 days -- is still very alive and "go to" in your mind.

Deep down, you just want to get the money together, buy a big rocket, strap it to the back of the plane and hope it flies.

That's not how businesses are built.  That's not how you get a plane off the ground.

You CAN'T work at petco and be building a business on the side, because you wont be faced with challenges all day that constantly put you to the test like LEAF.

(Leaf is like: cold call FASTER GO GO, now close this deal, get this paperwork done, COLD CALL GO GO, get this approved, SHIT GOTTA COLD CALL AGAIN FUCK IM BEHIND)

LEAF trains hustle all day.  Compared to LEAF, getting an extra hour in on my business is too easy, and it's not a hard challenge to take on.  It'll be easy to get going most days if I really want it.  I won't feel like I'm hustling enough every time, and that'll push me to get even bigger, creating a cycle of growth.

Petco trains victim behavior all day.  Everything about it degrades me, is slower, is mundane standard work with bottom barrel people surrounding me... going home and building my business compared to that is a huge challenge every time and I'm not going to feel up to the challenge, so just getting myself to do it only happens here and there and then I spend that time acting more like a victim than a hustler.

As long as your actions don't reflect your intentions, nothing is going to change.  Action is much stronger than inspiration, and it's the only way you actually grow.

It's not "get bigger first, then build a business".  That's like going to the gym every day to prepare to be a good construction worker.  It's not nearly as effective as actually building shit every day... that's how you get there.

It is time to actually do BOTH, so that there's a new challenge I am tested against, and new daily objectives and failures to overcome.

Right now, I am trying to overcome being a 4 and wanting to be a 5 every day.  But since I'm not actually building a business and I'm not even trying to focus on more than one thing, it doesn't mean much.

When you fail it's like, well, yeah I was small but I found 3 warms and got an app in, great day.  

Does that really move you closer to having your own business?  Or does getting more money in the bank just lead to more "failure of success"?

So I will begin.  It is time.  BABY STEPS for sure... but just SOMETHING to start.  

15 minutes, as soon as I get home, Tuesday - Thursday this week.  That's less than 1 hour for the week.  

Objective: Get an amazon-based website setup so that I am ready to port over.  Also check other's experience with web hosting through them, if necessary, just upgrade the gator.

That is who I am as a person.  Whether it was always there, or it's just who I became, there is no going back.

If I don't do BOTH, I will never feel CONTROL, because I'm NOT DOING SHIT to really be in control... I'm just collecting money to be able to float for a while should the ship sink.  Just widening the safety net.

THE MORE YOU WORK ON BOTH, THE MORE CONTROL YOU WILL FEEL, AND THE HAPPIER YOU WILL BECOME.

It will feel like you're WAKING UP.  Like it's just been the lonely, cold warrior shell for the last 3 years and my inner spirit has finally returned, and I feel filled with guts and glory and life again.

No guts, no glory.  Do both.  Do whatever it takes.  Find yourself once again.

Try to remember what it felt like back when you were crazy and knew what life you really wanted and were excited to learn every trick in the book.

Except now you know all the tricks.  It's like Luke from Episode 5, leaving yoda... now it's been years later and it's episode 6 back in Degoba, and yoda is like, "No more training need you.  Vader.  You must defeat Vader.  Only then will your training be complete."

In my world, Vader is the corporate ladder.

And to complete my training, I must become free -- I must be making enough money on the side where I can choose to do whatever I want.  It's not about telling LEAF to f* off... it's about knowing that if I did, it would only help me along the path (right now, it'd add a major detour to my path.)

The Cure for Aids

So in 2004, a man who'd been testing postive for aids since 1995... tested negative:

It wasn't because he took a certain aids medication.  It was because he had a bone marrow transfusion to help him with his leukemia.  A significant portion of europeans are resistant to HIV due to genes that make their antibodies have different CCR5 receptors, meaning HIV essentially cant affect the antibodies.  The donor he got the bone marrow from happened to have a very potent version of these anti-aids genes.

Doctors saw multiple, consistant negative tests for HIV in this patient, and obviously, some light bulbs wents off.

So began research, and in 2009, a human trial began.  Results came out in 2014.

"HIV RNA became undetectable in one of four patients who could be evaluated. The blood level of HIV DNA decreased in most patients."

What did I do last night

1. Saddleback after work.  Nick convinces me and Kris to goto downtown LA.  Says he'll pay for the room.
2. free train ride to downtown LA (not including the drinks on the train), we hang out with a cool guy on the train, buy him a drink at the bar at the grand station along with Kris and Nick.  Jameson and coke.  free ride to Omni from their town car.
3. get to the omni.  they have a fruit salad in their water coolers.  the water tastes really good.
4. Nick gets manager special at the Omni, our room is on the 16th floor.
5. goto bar on the third floor of the Omni. Nick gets into argument with bartender about how to make an old fashioned...bar tender smart ass replies that cherries are expensive.  I still think it's a really good old fashioned
6. Nick storms out of bar with drink in hand.  Me and Kris follow.  We wonder if having drinks outside is okay.  Nerves rise as we near the street.  Pretty sure this is drinking in public.
7. We run into semi-pro skateboarders, doing HUGE 360's, (3 sets of 3 stairs with huge gaps separating them.)  They are filming and have lights.  Kris asks the security guard about the skateboarders.  He is mad and says this is private property and that everyone needs to gtfo.

8. We get to the standard.  Nick skips line and starts talking to the security guard.  Me and Kris realize he's trying to get us in and just start talking to eachother and acting like we're supposed to be there.
9. Nick gets us into the rooftop at 'The Standard' party, skipping the cover charges and line.
   
10. Sick party, we are 30 stories up surrounded by the massive banks that we compete with every day for financing.  At one point a big dude asks me if I threw something over the edge of the building or if im friends with someone who did.  I insist hes got the wrong person. 
11. Kris and I hit on some girls.  He's got good opening game and has a little skill.
    
12. We are escorted out of the building by security because appearently Kris thought it was cool to toss ice over the edge of the building, and it almost does serious damage when it lands 30 floors down on the street.  They reviewed the footage carefully, it was an hour after the act.
13. We head back to Omni.  Blackout mode from there.
14. Next morning Nick wants to drink more.  It's 7am.  Bars are all closed and room-service says no to alcohal.  We call for the towncar.
15. There is a psycho-analyst convention in town, many psychologists are getting on the elevator.  Nick explains that he is a psycho and they can analyze him.
16. Robert, the town car driver, recommends a sports bar for drinks.  The Real Madrid vs. Barcelona soccer game is about to start and there are over a hundred european fans there, all chanting and yelling and beating drums and going nuts whenever anything happens.  They are so insane the bar is split into two sides, one for each group of fans.
17. Our side wins (real Madrid).  Crowd goes nuts.  Nick's trainee, Kevin, has a girlfriend that is wearing a real madrid shirt and is surprisingly hot.
    
18. We try to ride to catch another free train ride, but it doesn't work out.  Fortunately you can buy tickets digitally from your phone.  Problem solved.

RUST -- New Hardcore Survival Free Loot Free Build Indie Game

This game looks amazing, it screams my name more than Darkfall in a lot of ways.

You can build pretty amazing bases... there's no combat logging... you can blow up other people's bases and take all their stuff... when you kill, you take everything they have... the graphics are phenomenal... multiplayer servers mean running into action.

Only difficulties...

1. It's in Alpha stage.  And they want $20 for it... in this stage.
2. Graphics look AMAZING but that brings into question whether my computer can handle it or not.

Is Global Warming Real? And is it Man Made?

After watching "Chasing Ice", a documentary that films and time lapses many of the worlds glaciers, there was no doubt left in my mind -- the world is warming up -- how else would it be that 90-95% of all glaciers are shrinking at hundreds of feet per year?

This was all FILMED and TIMELAPSED... it's a little hard to yell "conspiracy" when the proof is so incredibly solid.

So man made or not... I used to say "we don't really know" or "not necessarily US that's doing it"... until I saw the ice core data.

And now I'm serious about making sure other people know the truth too if I hear them going around talking about how "we don't know if man is the reason the world is heating up."  Because when it gets critical and it's time to vote on some things that have serious consquences of the economy of industry... it's important as many people as possible know the truth.

People just don't get trolls -- "Racism" over Cheerios commercial

KAT IS BACK!!  Kat Williams is finally coming out with a new stand up special.  (I'm sure that video will end up getting taken off youtube, fyi)

And he's funny as ever... I was watching a cam version of it on youtube when he made a point about getting rid of racism... and brought up a mixed family cheerios commercial that had become a big race issue.

So... I had to go look this up to see wtf was going on.

The issue was that there was a flaming race war over this video..... on YOUTUBE.


And this just reminded me how people just don't get trolls.

The comments on youtube that were the WORST of the racism... at least 80 - 90% of those were written by people who aren't even racist.

And it becomes a major issue because most people don't understand youtube, internet culture, or trolls.

People think there's this huge race issue surfacing in the country because they don't know what trolls are, or what their purpose is.  They're purpose is to piss you off, because it's funny to them.  Which is low, personally I don't believe in trolling unless someone is asking for it, but there's actually some good new age witty toughness in principle behind this new phenomenon.

I love trolls because I get them and have become fairly untrollable... and therefore I'm not sitting around ashamed of the country.  Actually, I'm pretty impressed by some of the funnier racist jokes... because I don't take any joke seriously, ever.  You can not find it funny, but to get offended at a joke is generally stupid and always means you're being hard headed.

This black facebook commenter from the "black father / family" link above sums it up perfectly:

The best thing to do is ignore the attention seeker. Never reward bad behavior with attention. The saddest thing is people are feeding into the hype by making comments. Starting MC Server VS. Joining Factions

So, I'm getting back to that point where I'm running out of good things to do in my free time...

And now that I'm making more money and I could use a new project, I've been playing with the idea of starting my own minecraft server to recreate my own version of that old Jadon server.

I love the concept of a 1000x1000 server where x-ray / maphacks are allowed (but obviously other hacks like invisibility, speed, flight, etc, aren't), and you can build wherever you want, but you can only have your place protected if it meets the size requirements and entrance requirements (basically would mean if you accidently leave your door open or something they can get at your chests, you're never 100% safe from your own foolishness or the sneakiness of a really good rogue.)

And with such a small map you'd run into pvp all over.

The following is what I saved to my remembers file once I found out about how easy it might be...

On the other hand, this is just a dream and the real work behind it would probably never be worth the effort.  I don't play minecraft enough for that, nor do I smoke enough weed.  So to be realistic, it's time to explore something new... and that new thing is the pvp mod that has taken over the minecraft community... So what I plan on doing is:

Find a faction server with a reasonably sized map (5,000 - 10,000), live online HTML map if possible, NON-MMO mod, with high population, and then I want to use the guide above to succeed by building my 1-chunk faction base nearby other high-value-target factions.  And of course, my base may be more mobile than most.

Asians ARE Elves...

I watched the video below and this thought came back to me.  And although people have argued this against me before... I am now 100% convinced I'm right... Asians ARE Elves...

-Elves are the smartest of the races.  Asians are too.
-Elves are slender and have the best dexterity.  Same with asians.
-Elves have pointy ears.  Asians have pointy eyes.
-Elves are renown for their bizarre and stunning arts and architecture.  Just like asians.
-Elves are the most stealthy fighters.  Asians have ninjas.
-Elves are the most noble race and stubborn in respect to their traditions.  Same with asians.
-Elves are the wisest race and closest to nature.  Asian beliefs and religions mirror this, i.e. Confucius, Taoism, Shinto, etc.
-Elves tend to keep to themselves and their part of the world.  Like how China built a wall, Japan cut off all trade at one point, and north Korea has completely isolated themselves.
-Elves are the most magical race.  Asians invented fireworks.  And neither figured out how to turn that stuff into gunpowder.
